Remember-Ring: testimonials

Steve has made me two very unique rings for two very different reasons. The first ring he made me for my birthday, it contained everything that is special to me including shells and Lego. He also included healing stones which were magnified by being set into the silver base. He also set in a small zircon as it’s my birthstone, so it has been dearly treasured since. He also made me a ring after losing my mum nearly three years ago. Inside he included all of her favourite things, along with pieces that have sentimental value, like a thread from her wedding dress and her ashes. This ring has allowed me to feel and remain close to my mum since her passing; I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I saw a collection of Steve’s rings… I loved them as they were so different and the colours were amazing… I had one made for my little finger… loved it… so I had another two rings made which I’m so pleased with… Steve makes them so well.

I wanted a pink memorial ring with some of my mum’s ashes and a few of her hairs to be included in it. He visited me and listened to what I would like, then explained the process to me. He kept in touch with me throughout the making of my ring, sending me pictures of the progress. The result was the most beautiful, stunning pink ring with 4 small diamonds embedded around the ring as I had requested. I cannot recommend Steve’s work enough.

I got a beautiful ring from this talented guy. He listened carefully to my requirements and crafted me EXACTLY what I asked for. To say I’m happy with his craftsmanship and attention to detail is a woeful understatement of how pleased I am. Five stars, buy with confidence.

After 15 years of being with my partner I decided it was time we got married. I’ve known Steve many years and asked him if he would create our wedding rings, but my request was that both rings were to have cuttings of our past and current pet fur, hair from both of us and be forever entrenched in our wedding rings. Steve kept us updated throughout the whole process, and it was amazing to see the rings go from blanks to the pieces of hand crafted, one of a kind rings that they are now.

Steve made me a lovely silver thumb ring in remembrance of my beautiful old collie, Flossie, when she passed away. It contains some of Flossie’s black and white fur and a few ashes. I wear it every day. He also made me a wooden pendant with a silver dog-paw print in the middle, also containing ashes. The wood – walnut or rosewood, I think – has a beautiful grain to it. It hangs in my window. They are both treasured pieces made with love as Steve knew my old girl, Flossie. His gorgeous old boy, Tigger, used to walk and play with her down by the stream that runs through Plumpton College, many years ago!
