We wanted to have four rings made for each of us (family) to remember our first family pet dog Modi. Steve was amazing throughout the process giving ideas and guidance and showing us pictures during the making. The rings mean a lot to each of us as they are a way of reminding us of Modi. Silver thumb ring
Steve made me a lovely silver thumb ring in remembrance of my beautiful old collie, Flossie, when she passed away. It contains some of Flossie’s black and white fur and a few ashes. I wear it every day. He also made me a wooden pendant with a silver dog-paw print in the middle, also containing ashes. The wood – walnut or rosewood, I think – has a beautiful grain to it. It hangs in my window. They are both treasured pieces made with love as Steve knew my old girl, Flossie. His gorgeous old boy, Tigger, used to walk and play with her down by the stream that runs through Plumpton College, many years ago!
Impressed with Steve’s talent and patience
Steve made me a beautiful tungsten birthstone ring with blue zircon, tanzanite, turquoise and opal. It’s beautiful in the daytime as the opal makes it sparkle, and it also glows at night! He subsequently made me two other rings, including a thumb ring. I’m so impressed with his talent – and his patience in listening to what I wanted.
One of a kind rings
After 15 years of being with my partner I decided it was time we got married. I’ve known Steve many years and asked him if he would create our wedding rings, but my request was that both rings were to have cuttings of our past and current pet fur, hair from both of us and be forever entrenched in our wedding rings. Steve kept us updated throughout the whole process, and it was amazing to see the rings go from blanks to the pieces of hand crafted, one of a kind rings that they are now.
I cannot recommend Steve’s work enough
I wanted a pink memorial ring with some of my mum’s ashes and a few of her hairs to be included in it. He visited me and listened to what I would like, then explained the process to me. He kept in touch with me throughout the making of my ring, sending me pictures of the progress. The result was the most beautiful, stunning pink ring with 4 small diamonds embedded around the ring as I had requested. I cannot recommend Steve’s work enough.

My ring is superb
My ring is superb, I absolutely love it. It contains precious gem stones, including my dad’s, son’s and my own birth stones. It also contains my dad’s and son’s ashes and a few of my eyelashes. It has such a beautiful glow to it day and night. This incredible piece of jewellery holds a special place in my heart and I am forever grateful to Steve at RemembeRing.

What can I say but WOW. Had this super precious ring made for me by an awesome talented friend of mine. Completely blown away by the beauty and knowing what’s in there. My ring represents family and love – past, present & future. The colours i chose were my mum’s favourite bright vibrant colours. With eyelashes (from my daughter and 3 grandbabies, yes they had to be plucked but were unharmed in the process!!), fur from Spencer & ashes from my whippets. Also a few healing stones. Whatever happens in life they will ALWAYS be so close to me. Steve Rae, you have made me have the biggest smile. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Seriously, anyone wanting such unique and personalized rings made, then Steve is definitely your man.
Beautiful rings
Steve made us our beautiful rings with our fur baby Bundy’s ashes in them along with our birth stones and healing crystals. He kept us posted with photos of our rings, going through their stages. They mean so much to us and he put his heart in to making them perfect.
Great communication
Steve has made 4 rings for me, my partner and my son all bespoke to what we wanted and all have been made better than expected with an exceptional quality of work put into crafting them. Also great communication in discussing the process of work whilst being made and keeping me up to date with how it’s progressing. Would recommend to anyone wanting a ring personalised to them.
